Prime location ever Cherng Talay. The beach is quiet and mainly popular with locals. The land between the beach and the small back road is occupied by a dozen small restaurants. Cherng Talay is the subdistrict of Thalang in the middle west part of the island, just south of the airport and includes Bang Tao Beach, Surin, Layan and Banana Beaches.
